
Chicken Fried Steak
with Gravy

Ingredients:
Chicken Fried Steak
2lbs Georgetown Cut
2 cups Semolina Wheat Flour
1 tbsp Salt
1 ½ tbsp Black Pepper
1 tbsp Paprika
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Onion Powder
Grass Fed Butter
Gravy
2 cups Organic Grass Fed Milk
2 Free Range Eggs
Instructions
- 1. Prepare and heat a 3 inch deep pan of Olive Oil to medium for frying, adding a dollop of butter to oil mixture.
- 2. Cut and tenderize Georgetown Cuts to a fillet size
- 3. In a medium sized bowl, prepare a dry mix with 2 cups semolina flour, 1tbsp salt, 1 1/2 tbsp black pepper, 1 tbsp paprika, 1 tsp garlic powder, and 1 tsp onion powder.
- 4. In a separate bowl, prepare a wet mix with 2 cups of Milk and 2 eggs.
- 5. Using one hand, take Georgetown Cut fillets and place them into dry mix and coat in mix.
- 6. Using the other hand, drench the fillet in the wet batter mix, getting full coverage.
- 7. Using the dry hand, re-coat fillets with dry mix until fully covered.
- 8. Place Georgetown Cut fillets into the pan, covering while frying, cook until golden brown or medium rare.
- 9. Take fillets out of the pan and place onto a plate with paper towels.
- 10. Remove oil and greasy bits from the pan by pouring the oil into a separate container.
- 11. Prepare gravy by pouring 2 cups milk to 1/2 cup flour in the frying pan with low heat, whisk until you have your preferred consistency.
